A brief message from Rachael

Done - got a job, opened a bank account, found a place to live, celebrated christmas and found time to go to Trafalgar Square! The National Gallery is enormous and a maze of rooms with wonderful artworks. We saw van Gogh's Sunflowers, Degas' Ballet Dancer, Cezanne's Bathers and the list goes on (if you don't know what these are...well, it's very sad).

Trafalgar Square is great - unfortunately no feeding the birds these days. I still sang the song though (and thought of you Jess Jam). Apparently the pigeons cause far too much poo in a major tourist attraction.

We've seen some touristy things which is fun. We've seen Big Ben and the houses of parliament, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, St Pauls Cathedral (we went there for their Christmas Eve service) and Hyde Park. We are dedicated to taking photos of Monopoly destinations - although we've not found any free parking. We'll post the pictures when we move in to our new place and have more time to fiddle on the net. Anyway, that's it - just a short one,
